JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to lead a team in the maintenance and repair of Domestic, Asian and Fleet vehicles. This role requires proficiency in understanding customers needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspect, document and repair vehicles. As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for building on our existing team to their potential and ensuring that all work is performed efficiently and to the highest standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a mechanic or technician, preferably in a independent shop or similar environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot vehicle concerns.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic tools and shop equipment.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with automotive repair and maintenance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
• Red Seal certification; additional technical certifications are a plus.

• Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the technician team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to specifications.
• Lead by example by being dependable and reliable
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Assist in training new technicians on best practices and repair methods.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
