JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the capability to work efficiently with both hand and power tools. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality repairs and maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to quality

    Pay: £28,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using schematics and technical manuals.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Assemble components and systems as required for vehicle repairs.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle’s condition, necessary repairs, and maintenance recommendations.
  • Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
