Job Summary: Heinrich Chevrolet in Lockport, NY is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a full-time Flat-Rate hour technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics in accordance with company standards. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong knowledge of automotive systems and excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a passion for the auto industry.  For those candidates with limited experience we offer an in-house mentorship program. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive salary of $50,000 to $120,000 per year, paid weekly. In addition to base compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401k retirement plan. Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of makes and models • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately troubleshoot problems • Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts, time, and labor • Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs needed and provide accurate estimates • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times • Continuously update skills and knowledge through training and development opportunities Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent • 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician or completion of an Automotive Education Program. • ASE certification preferred, but not required • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repairs • Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Valid driver's license  Equal Opportunity Employer: Heinrich Chevrolet is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
