Job Description What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like As a key member of our technical team, you will: Build and Assemble: Assist with building custom test boxes, fabricating special cables, and creating mounting fixtures for new sensors. Work on Test Vehicles: Get hands-on with our fleet by installing and removing vehicle components (like bumpers and sensors) and running diagnostic reports. Support Testing Activities: Act as a target car driver for system tests (e.g., Predictive Emergency Braking), help collect on-road data, and assist with vehicle test cases. Manage the Workshop: Help keep our lab areas organized and ready for the next project. Update Vehicle Systems: Assist the team during ECU (Electronic Control Unit) software re-flashing activities. Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications We are looking for candidates who are passionate about automotive technology and eager to learn through doing. Education: You must be actively enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelors degree program from a 2-year, 4-year or technical school. Target fields include Automotive Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Technology, or a related skilled trade. Hands-On Skills: Practical experience using common hand tools and power tools. A solid understanding of basic vehicle mechanics and electrical systems, either from coursework, labs, or personal projects. A valid driver's license and a good driving record are essential for this role. Ability to read basic electrical schematics or mechanical drawings is a major plus. General Skills: Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be able to work more than 24 hours per week. Minimum GPA of 3.0 Our Focus: We value practical experience and a passion for learning.
