Automotive Technician – McGrath Chevyland Location: Cedar Rapids, IA Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary: McGrath Chevyland is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our high-performing service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to manufacturer standards while delivering the high-quality service our customers expect. Key Responsibilities: * Perform accurate diagnostics and identify necessary repairs. * Communicate findings clearly with Service Advisors and customers. * Order and install the correct parts required for each repair. * Complete all repairs efficiently and to manufacturer specifications. * Follow dealership and OEM guidelines for safety and quality. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. * Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Qualifications/Requirements: * Minimum 2 years of automotive technician/mechanic experience required. * Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and problem-solving skills. * Positive attitude and strong work ethic. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. * High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
