JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and licensed Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, possess and hold all necessary licenses to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic.
  • Red Seal certification is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and all required provincial licensing.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components.
  • Proficient with diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Welding experience is a plus.
  • has to have proper tools.

Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on various makes and models.
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and accurately diagnose mechanical issues.
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks with precision and safety.
  • Assemble/disassemble vehicle components and perform necessary replacements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Clearly communicate repair needs and service recommendations to service advisors and customers.
  • Weld and fabricate parts when required (welding experience is an asset).
  • Assist in lifting heavy components with proper safety techniques.
  • Keep up to date with automotive technologies and repair procedures.
