Position Overview As an Automotive Technician at Pebble, you'll play an essential role on our Vehicle Engineering team, helping to build high-quality, electric RV travel trailers. You'll install and service mechanical systems, work with automotive tools and equipment, and contribute to our mission of delivering innovative, sustainable products. This is a hands-on position ideal for recent automotive program graduates or technicians with 1-5 years of experience who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities * Install and assemble automotive components including brakes, suspension, axles, wheels, and chassis systems * Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on trailer systems * Install lighting, plumbing, and basic vehicle accessories * Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area * Accurately follow work instructions, assembly diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) * Use hand and power tools, torque wrenches, and standard automotive tools to complete assigned tasks * Assist in identifying opportunities for workflow improvements and quality enhancements * Document completed work and communicate any issues as they arise * Participate in training and learn new assembly processes as needed Qualifications * Recent graduate of an automotive technology program (A.S.E., DeVry, Chabot College, Universal Technical Institute, De Anza College, WyoTech or similar) OR 1-5 years of hands-on automotive technician experience * Experience working on cars, trucks, vans, buses, or similar vehicles * Associate's degree in Automotive Technology, automotive certification (ASE preferred but not required), or equivalent hands-on mechanic experience * Familiarity with automotive tools and safety practices * Ability to read and follow work instructions and diagrams * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn * Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities * RV, van conversion, or trailer experience a plus Benefits: Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401k, Paid Time Off Compensation: This job pays between $30-40/hr USD based on experience and qualifications.
