ABOUT US

Monroe Auto is a busy, well-established family-owned and operated business in Whitby, ON. We are looking for another experienced licensed technician to join our team. Our goal is to find an easygoing motivated technician to add to our team of professionals. Hours and wages are negotiable depending on experience and availability. A valid, clean ON driver’s license is required.
Monroe Auto is very diversified, one stop automotive shop. We offer many automotive services over and above our mechanical department, such as glass repair/replacements, hitches, accessories, tinting, remote starters, etc. The ability for our technicians to help out with the other services we offer is a bonus, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain automotive vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles.
  • Use diagnostic equipment to analyze engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
  • Communicate with Service Advisors on repairs, ordering of parts, and aid with cross selling to our other departments.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
