JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles and a strong commitment to providing high-quality service. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
  • A valid driver’s license is required; additional certifications (e.g., ASE) are preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Repair or replace defective parts and components using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working in the shop environment.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
