Job Details Job Location: Seattle, WA 98125 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $89,000.00 Base+Commission/year As a Reconditioning Technician at Seattle MINI, you will play a crucial role in preparing pre-owned vehicles for resale. This includes inspecting and repairing vehicles to ensure that they meet dealership quality standards. This position will service all makes and models of vehicles and is not limited to BMW / MINI products. Key Responsibilities: Inspect pre-owned vehicles for mechanical and safety issues, documenting findings. Perform repairs and maintenance, such as maintenance items, and part replacements, and tire replacement. Conduct quality control checks to ensure vehicles meet dealership and manufacturer standards. Coordinate with the service and sales departments to prioritize vehicle reconditioning needs. Maintain an organized and clean work environment, ensuring tools and supplies are readily available. Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations while performing job duties. Provide feedback to management regarding recurring issues or opportunities for improvement. Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in automotive inspection, repair, or reconditioning is preferred. Basic knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair techniques. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
