Automotive Technician Location: Dallas, TX, United States Work Environment: In-person (100% on-site) Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Full-time (30+ hours per week) About the Role We’re helping our Client, a leading autonomous vehicle company, find skilled Automotive Technicians to support and maintain its cutting-edge fleet of autonomous electric vehicles. In this role, you’ll apply your automotive expertise to a rapidly evolving industry at the forefront of mobility technology. From routine maintenance to emergency response, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of the fleet. This opportunity is perfect for experienced technicians with strong mechanical skills, a passion for electric vehicles, and a commitment to precision, safety, and continuous improvement. Shift Options (Consistent Shift Assignment) 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Weekends: Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM Key Responsibilities Assess and document vehicle damage after road incidents Perform minor on-site repairs; coordinate major repairs with partner service centers Conduct routine maintenance and inspections (brakes, fluids, AC, tires, etc.) Support field operations, including towing and car evacuations Transport vehicles for service appointments, repairs, and washes Monitor and report potential issues before they become problems Maintain fleet and shop cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance Ideal Candidate Profile Prior experience as an automotive technician or mechanic (required) Experience with electric vehicles (highly preferred) Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic tools Clean driving record and valid Texas driver’s license Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented, safety-focused, and proactive Comfortable working around advanced autonomous vehicle technology Why Join Work with a growing AV company shaping the future of transportation Be part of a collaborative, hands-on team Gain exposure to cutting-edge EV and AV technology Contact: For more information, call Liza at 281-612-18710.
