We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join the team at a busy, customer-focused dealership in Sturgeon Falls. In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of vehicles while ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and service quality. REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician.
  • At least 1 year of brand-specific product experience preferred.
  • College Diploma or Trade School Certificate in Automotive Studies or equivalent.
  • Valid Automotive Service Technician (AST) Certification of Qualification – Class A.
  • Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certificate.
  • Valid Driver’s License (for province of employment).
  • Proficient in working with both manual and automatic transmissions; basic computer literacy required
  • Dealership experience is an asset.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with solid diagnostic skills and a sound understanding of automotive systems.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing time effectively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance services and mechanical repairs on customer vehicles.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and provide accurate repair solutions.
  • Conduct safety inspections and identify potential service needs.
  • Provide clear and prioritized written estimates for additional work.
  • Communicate repair procedures and updates to Service Advisors.
  • Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and safety.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and service records.
  • Keep the Service Consultant informed throughout the service cycle.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization of personal and shared workspaces.
  • Stay current with dealership training programs and product updates.
  • Promote compliance with all safety regulations and dealership policies.
  • Deliver a consistently excellent customer experience.
