Reddy’s General Services Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturing, construction, and commercial maintenance business based in Dandenong South, Victoria. We specialise in metal fabrication, carpentry, painting, and integrated site maintenance. Our clients include multinational corporations and local businesses, and our work is delivered both on-site and through our advanced maintenance facility.
As part of our operations, we manage a growing fleet of light and heavy vehicles as well as numerous pieces of heavy machinery all of which require routine and responsive servicing. We are now seeking dedicated Automotive Technicians to support these critical maintenance functions.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certificate IV in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with both light and heavy machinery is highly desirable
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technicians to join our technical team. This role is vital to the continued performance and reliability of our fleet vehicles, supporting the broader construction and maintenance operations of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and related mechanical components.
  • Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components for inspection and service.
  • Repairing and replacing worn or defective parts, reassembling mechanical systems to manufacturer specifications.
  • Performing scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrication, brake servicing, and engine tune-ups.
  • Testing and adjusting mechanical systems after repairs to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Using diagnostic tools, including computer systems, to identify and resolve faults.
