Description
Your tasks
Test concept & strategy: You create well-founded test concepts and plans and come up with smart strategies for how we can best test our features.
Hands-on Testing: You conduct manual and exploratory tests, immerse yourself in our users' experiences, and find the edge cases that no one else has thought of.
Test automation: You are the architect of our test coverage. You create, maintain, and extend automated tests (e.g., end-to-end, integration) to make our development cycle fast and secure.
Requirements Champion: For you, a bug or incident is just the beginning. You analyze the causes and translate them into clear, well-structured requirements, which you actively drive forward.
Agile requirements support: In general, you are an important support in requirements engineering. You bring the "QA lens" into the process early on (shift-left) and refine user stories and acceptance criteria before any code is written.
Documentation & Reporting: You ensure transparency regarding test coverage and test results, document cleanly in our tools, and keep track of product quality.
Your profile
Background: You have completed a degree (computer science, business informatics or similar) or a comparable technical education and already have practical experience in software quality assurance (QA / testing).
Mindset: You have a "quality first" mindset and a healthy dose of persistence. You are solution-oriented: You don't just point the finger at mistakes, but actively look for ways to improve the product and the process.
Skillset: You are proficient in the tools of manual and exploratory testing, but also possess strong conceptual skills for requirements engineering. You are comfortable using agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
