Revology Cars is hiring an experienced Upholstery Technician to build and install world-class, premium-quality interiors for its reproduction 1960s Mustangs. PAY AND BENEFITS An upholstery technician at Revology Cars will make between $23.00 and $32.00 per hour, depending on their skills and experience. This is not a flat rate job. The pay is stable, and you don't have to worry about not being assigned enough hours. The work week is 6:45 am to 3:15 pm Monday through Friday. We offer company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision coverage, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). 80 hours paid time off (PTO) starts accruing immediately after hire, and new hires are eligible for holiday pay after only 90 days. All full-time employees are eligible for our 401(k) with up to 4% company match after only 180 days. ABOUT THE JOB Upholstery technicians at Revology Cars create world-class premium interiors for 1960s Mustang automobiles. The upholstery department cuts, sews, and fits leather seat upholstery, trims seats, and wraps interior trim panels in leather and vinyl. Some upholstery techs also install carpet, interior trim panels, and/or convertible tops. We use premium OEM materials, including Nappa leather from Mercedes, Porsche, Ferrari, and Rolls-Royce, and 100% wool square weave carpet. The variety of jobs available means there is a path to career growth as a technician becomes more skilled. ABOUT REVOLOGY CARS We build reproduction Mustangs as properly engineered vehicles with all of the classic style and character of the original, but with the functionality of modern technology. We are growing rapidly and provide excellent advancement opportunities for qualified team members. REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of five (5) years of upholstery experience. Capable of taking patterns and making templates from scratch. Capable of using single and double needle machines. Capable of inspecting hides and knowledge of common defects. Capable of solving problems. Experienced machine operator. Ability and willingness to learn and follow safety rules and procedures. Ability to perform manual labor, standing and walking much of the time, and with a certain amount of manual dexterity (the ability to pick up, handle, and manipulate tools, parts, and/or materials quickly and accurately). Ability to maneuver into, around, and about vehicles or components on an assembly line. Tasks may require a certain amount of reaching, twisting, and bending. Ability to learn, remember, and maintain pace of steps involved in performing a job after instruction, training, and familiarization with the tasks. Ability and willingness to understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written. Ability to perceive differences in very specific details when inspecting parts or work performed, checking for defects or quality issues, or when distinguishing various parts/components by identification number or code. Ability and willingness to work in a team environment, including helping co-workers, maintaining, and promoting a safe work environment, treating co-workers with dignity and respect regardless of personal differences, and accepting and following instructions and requests from leadership. Able to plan, organize, and manage work effectively. Ability and willingness to follow work instructions and do things the same way, to the same high standard of quality, every time.
