Due to our rapid growth, Rod Hatfield has an immediate need for experienced Used Car Sales Manager. Rod Hatfield is looking for self-motivated, hardworking people to join our winning team. The Sales Manager will lead a sales team to create an exceptional experience for Customers. This role is responsible for training, coaching, developing and retaining the very best Sales Consultants for the store, driving a high-level of performance among the sales team to increase market share, achieve targeted unit sales and profit margins while providing customers with a truly exceptional experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzing the business to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performance
  • Manage, train, and direct a team of Sales Consultants
  • Actively support, encourage, and motivate sales personnel daily to maintain high moral
  • Exhibit a professional management style that sets the example for enthusiasm, productivity, and accountability.
  • Be accountable for daily performance metrics in sales, appointments, and call follow-up
  • Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate future leads
  • Support other operational units within the store to achieve maximum return on opportunity for the dealership
  • Provide dealer with accurate floor traffic control data daily
  • Assist Sales Consultants in closing sales as needed
  • Use CRM tool to manage the sales-force
  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with laws and regulations affecting vehicle sales

Job Requirements

  • Strong background in automotive sales
  • Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds, Promax, and Dealer Track preferred but not required
  • Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software/internet proficiency
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
