QUALIFICATIONS

• Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Used Car Manager/Reconditioning Manager in an automotive dealership setting
• Must have 5 years of vAuto experience
• High-energy, results-driven attitude with strong leadership and coaching skills
• Previous experience with high-volume automotive sales, buying, and appraisals
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
• Proficiency in automotive valuation tools and dealership management systems
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• You must have or acquire a valid California Vehicle Salesperson License

The Used Car Manager is responsible for overseeing the acquisition and management of the dealership’s used vehicle inventory.

• Plays a crucial role in the dealership’s used car acquisitions by interacting with customers, brokers, auctions, and other sources to purchase vehicles.
• Takes charge of appraising, purchasing, reconditioning, displaying, and merchandising the used vehicle inventory.
• Sets and forecasts sales goals, gross profit targets, and key expenses on both a monthly and annual basis.
