Description Larson Automotive Group is adding a new Vehicle Acquisition Specialist role designed to strengthen our pre-owned inventory across our dealerships. This position will pilot at one location, with the goal of expanding company-wide based on success. What You’ll Do Source & Acquire Vehicles Identify and acquire pre-owned vehicles through service drive, trade-ins, and direct purchases Engage customers interested in selling or upgrading their vehicles Prospect through online platforms, social media, and inbound leads Service Drive Mining Partner with Service Advisors to identify acquisition opportunities Connect with service customers to discuss trade-in or purchase options Build relationships that generate ongoing acquisition leads Vehicle Appraisals & Negotiation Evaluate vehicles using market data, appraisal tools, and condition assessments Present competitive purchase offers aligned with dealership inventory needs Negotiate directly with customers and private sellers Inventory Strategy Work closely with management to maintain a high-demand inventory mix Monitor market trends and identify high-performing vehicle opportunities What We’re Looking For Sales-driven and motivated by performance-based earnings Strong communication and relationship-building skills Interest in automotive sales, inventory, or purchasing Ability to work independently and proactively generate opportunities Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Why Larson Automotive Group? Requirements Previous automotive dealership experience is preferred but not required. Used vehicle sales Vehicle appraisal or inventory management Automotive auctions or purchasing Automotive customer service or sales Strong understanding of used vehicle valuation and market conditions Familiarity with dealership systems such as Dealer Management Systems (DMS), CRM platforms, and vehicle appraisal tools such as vAuto Strong negotiation and customer relationship skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Strong organizational and time management skills · Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
