Job Description: Xcite Automotive is now seeking an experienced Automotive Wheel Repair Technician with paint experience to support dealership operations through high-quality wheel reconditioning and cosmetic repairs. This role is hands-on and production-driven, requiring precision, efficiency, and a strong understanding of dealership standards and turnaround times. The ideal candidate has direct experience repairing, refinishing, and painting wheels (curb rash, bends, scratches, refinishing), understands color matching, and can work independently in a fast-paced automotive environment. Key Responsibilities: Inspect wheels and rims to assess damage and determine repair approach Perform wheel repair including sanding, filling, refinishing, and painting Repair curb rash, scratches, corrosion, and cosmetic wheel damage Prep wheels for paint including masking, priming, and surface correction Mix and match paint to manufacturer standards Operate spray equipment and refinishing tools safely and efficiently Maintain quality control and ensure finished product meets dealership standards Meet daily production goals and turnaround timelines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate repair status with management and dealership teams as needed Qualifications Must-Have Qualifications Proven automotive wheel repair experience (hands-on, not theoretical) Paint and refinishing experience specific to wheels or automotive components Experience with sanding, priming, color matching, and clear coat application Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shift Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience working in a dealership environment High-volume or production-based wheel repair experience Mobile wheel repair background Experience meeting strict turnaround times and SLAs Familiarity with OEM wheel standards and finishes Beneficial Types of Previous Experience Automotive wheel repair technician Wheel refinishing or rim repair specialist Automotive painter or paint technician (with wheel experience) Dealership reconditioning or recon department experience Auto cosmetic repair (SMART repair, minor body/cosmetic work related to wheels) Apply today to start your career in Xcite Automotive!
