We’re looking for a practical, customer-focused individual to join our busy team in Elgin

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Full UK driving licence – preferably clean
Licence to drive 7.5 tonnes vehicles with DCPC is necessary
Hard copies of Driving Licence will be verified at interview

CORE SKILLS

  • Excellent numeric and literacy skills to enable completion of paperwork
  • Good people/customer service skills when dealing with customers and colleagues
  • Basic knowledge of relevant systems, equipment and processes.
  • A full driving licence is required for this role
  • Understands the importance of data accuracy within a warehouse context
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions relevant to the successful outcome and conclusion of the processes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide customer support and advice on products and services within the branch
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Communicate effectively with customers
  • Connect with the customer by being friendly, helpful and knowledgeable
  • Be available to deliver great service
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Use of our systems to process customer payments and orders
  • Provide and follow up on quotes for customers
  • Deliver a variety of items to different locations and through different routes
  • Demonstrate and provide advice regarding machinery/equipment delivered paying particular attention to safe operations
  • Build machines ready for sale and carry out PDIs (Pre-Delivery Inspections)
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
  • Complete logs and reports
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
  • Ensure any Company vehicle allocated is fit for purpose
  • Deal with customers’ queries and ensure these are passed to the relevant person for completion
  • Comply with MIS Policies and Procedures and adhere to the requirements for a solid paperwork trail
  • The Company has a health and safety policy, which outlines its responsibilities as an employer, and the responsibilities of its employees in respect of health and safety. All employees need to be aware of this policy and comply with its content
  • Complying with industry regulations and Health and Safety legislation, policy and procedures
