AUTONOMOUS CARS FLEET MANAGER

Location: Austin, TX (travel to Dallas ~30%)
Type: Full-time, 1-year contract
About the Role
We are hiring a Car Fleet Manager to oversee the performance, maintenance, and readiness of a cutting-edge fleet of autonomous vehicles. You will be the key point of contact for fleet health, ensuring all vehicles are safe, serviced, and fully operational.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience managing fleets (corporate, taxi, bus, or similar large-scale operations)
• Strong organizational skills to track dozens of vehicles simultaneously
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort coordinating repairs and maintenance
• Excellent communication skills, able to serve as central contact for fleet health
• Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and accountable
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Willing to travel between Austin (70%) and Dallas (30%) – travel covered

• Supervise large-scale service campaigns (recalls, part updates, system upgrades)
• Coordinate mechanical repairs both on-site and at partner service centers
• Track and manage fleet health, inspections, and preventative maintenance
• Provide real-time updates on the operational status of every vehicle
• Work closely with field teams, technicians, and engineers to resolve issues quickly
• Develop systems to track fleet health data and ensure accurate reporting
• Support urgent repairs, towing, and recovery when needed
