Engineering Technician 📍 Location: Foster City, CA 💰 Pay: $47.00 per hour 🕒 Schedule: Full-time (30+ hours/week) 📅 About the Job We’re looking for Engineering Technicians to join an autonomous ride-hailing company. You’ll work with a small, skilled team to help build, test, and improve new electronic products. You’ll make sure everything runs smoothly in the engineering lab—from assembling hardware to helping engineers solve problems and keeping the workspace organized and safe. What You’ll Do Build and test electronic parts and prototypes. Help engineers improve product designs and assembly methods. Inspect and test products for quality. Follow clear instructions and written procedures. Keep your work area clean and organized. Communicate clearly with your team and show up on time. What We’re Looking For ✅ Experience: 4–6 years of hands-on work with electronics or electro-mechanical assembly. Trade school or technical training (soldering, electronics, etc.) is great—no degree required. ✅ Skills: Can read and follow technical drawings and schematics. Can use tools like soldering irons, crimpers, cutters, and torque tools. Comfortable using computers (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.). Experience with soldering, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and other lab tools. Able to work independently and manage time well. ✅ Nice to Have: Startup or prototype lab experience. Familiarity with PLM (3DX), ERP (SAP/Oracle), or light coding (Python). IPC-610, IPC-620, or J-STD certifications. Why You’ll Love It Work with a high-energy, skilled team.
