Work Schedule :
60% FTE, day shift. Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30AM – 5:00PM. Rotating weekend on-call responsibilities. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an Autopsy Technician to:
• Assist with autopsies.
• Organize and catalogue forensic and medical autopsy tissue.
• Prepare and check for completeness of all required documentation.
• Provide oversight of QA monitoring and case accessioning.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Associate’s Degree in applied science or mortuary science Preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 1 year One year completed Licensed Funeral Director apprenticeship OR One year of healthcare or relevant laboratory experience. Required
  • 2 years Two years serving as Licensed Funeral Director OR Two years of relevant laboratory experience. Preferred
