Description Job Purpose: Auxiliary Personnel perform a wide range of activities that may involve automated lines as well as manual packaging/ visual inspection duties for pharmaceutical device items and products. The production environment is a 24 hour/7 day a week operation with various shift schedule opportunities. Proper attendance and a timely arrival for work is critical to a smooth shift operation. Employees may be required to wear safety items, uniforms or specified footwear depending upon the work area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Follow all SOPs set forth by Nephron Pharmaceuticals. Wear proper PPE as required by task being performed. Responsible for in-process quality packaging, inspection and or testing of finished product as required. Assemble components and/or perform visual inspections in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining compliance with all current local, state and federal regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Continued: Production area may be classified as a sterile area with additional responsibilities. Work as directed by Shift Supervisor or Lead on Duty. Perform cleaning, adjustments and preventive maintenance on equipment. Supplemental Functions: Perform cleaning, and other housekeeping duties to maintain a high level of cleanliness of the production areas. Perform additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required. Job Specifications and Qualifications: Must pass Visual Acuity testing (performed onsite) Must pass a Drug Screening per DEA requirements. Must speak, write, and read English. Must have a valid government issued identification in order to comply with E-Verify standards. Knowledge & Skills: The ability and willingness to change direction and focus to meet shifting organizational and business demands. The ability to effectively manage one self, demonstrates integrity, be productive under pressure, and achieve development goals. Incumbents may be required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, bouffant, and laboratory coats and other non-specified protective equipment as necessary. Education/Experience: High School Diploma. (Associates Degree or higher preferred.) Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: Position requires reaching (waist to overhead), bending (waist to floor), climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), good hearing, standing, crawling, and sitting, gripping, talking and walking. Incumbents may be required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, bouffant, and laboratory coats and other non-specified protective equipment as necessary.
Responsibilities
Auxiliary Personnel execute diverse activities including manual packaging, visual inspection of pharmaceutical devices, and in-process quality checks within a fast-paced, 24/7 production setting.
