Summary In the role of Auxiliary Technician, you will play a pivotal role by assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of garage doors and related systems. Prior experience is not a prerequisite, as we provide thorough on-the-job training. Duties Assist with the installation of garage doors and related systems per manufacturer specifications. Gather and prepare materials needed for installation and service jobs. Maintain paperwork and records as necessary. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Basic knowledge of construction, hand tools, and/or electrical. Mechanical inclination. Must possess a valid Driver’s License. Must have a clean driving record to be added to our auto insurance policy. Must have dependable & reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with garage doors or a related industry Skills Willingness to Learn Strong Problem-Solving Skills Excellent Attention to Detail Customer Service Oriented Mindset Adaptability to Changing Work Environments Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Work Conditions Non-climate-controlled environment – potentially working in all weather conditions. Frequently sitting, standing, bending, and lifting to 50-75 lbs. continuously.
