An AMC Engineer (Annual Maintenance Contract Engineer) with an AV (Audio-Visual) background plays a key role in ensuring that all AV systems are properly maintained, serviced, and functional as per the terms of a service contract. Their duties are both technical and client-focused.
1. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
2. Site Visits & Inspections
3. Troubleshooting & Technical Support
4. Reporting & Documentation
5. Client Interaction & Relationship Management
6. Coordination with Internal Teams
7. Compliance and Safety
· Degree/Diploma in Electronics, Telecommunications, or similar
· Solid understanding of AV systems, including:
o AV over IP
o Control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron)
o Video conferencing systems (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx)
· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
· Good communication and documentation skills
· Ability to read AV schematics and connection diagrams
