Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Residential AV Design & Project Manager to lead the design and execution of audio-visual solutions for high-end residential projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in home automation and residential AV systems, from concept design through to final handover. In addition to managing projects, this role includes providing technical support to the sales and customer service teams during the pre-sales and post-installation phases.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in residential AV systems design and installation.
  • Strong knowledge of home automation platforms (e.g., Control4, Crestron, Savant).
  • Proficient in reading architectural and electrical drawings.
  • Experience in project scheduling, resource allocation, and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Familiarity with networking, IP-based AV systems, and remote troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Visio, or similar is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
  • Design bespoke AV solutions for luxury homes, including multi-room audio, home theaters, smart lighting, video distribution, and control systems.
  • Create system schematics, cable layouts, rack elevations, and technical documentation using tools such as AutoCAD or similar.
  • Select appropriate hardware and integration solutions to meet client expectations and budgets.
  • Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and contractors to align AV solutions with design and space requirements.
