Description Job Title: AUDIO VISUAL ENGINEER Location: Multiple Locations ( Fort Belvoir, VA, Columbus, OH, New Cumberland, PA, Richmond, VA, and Philadelphia, PA) Duration: Long Term Requirements Responsibilities: Install, pull, terminate, and test all audiovisual (AV) type cables, connectors, and interfaces. Ability to install projection screens, plasma TVs, and different types of speakers. Installation of AV systems on clientsites. Read blueprints and wire AV racks. Manage AV projects with various models and makes of equipment. Will support up to ten (10) off-site events, within 50 miles of the respective duty station, peryear. Has a thorough understanding and working knowledge of testing, analysis, and corrective action on systems, networks, hardware, and software. Know and understand all wire and connector types on all AV-related cables." Required Skills: Five (5) years of relevant experience and technical skills/knowledge CompTIA Security+ Certification Clearance Status secret or higher Three (3) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience in the Video Teleconferencing arena, including deployment, troubleshooting, and supporting VTCs in a dynamic environment DLA Approve CE Certification Nice to have either one below mentioned certification or willing to obtain o 100-140 Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) IT Support o 100-150 Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Networking 100-160 Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Cybersecurity

Responsibilities

The AV Engineer will install, pull, terminate, and test all audiovisual cables and systems on client sites. They will manage AV projects and support off-site events within a specified distance from the duty station.
