We are looking for a skilled and motivated Audio Visual (A/V) Engineer to join our collaborative, forward-thinking team. As an Audio Visual (A/V) Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical installation and management of audio visual systems including fabrication, site preparation, pulling of cable, termination, physical installation, configuration, trouble shooting and commissioning of complex video and control systems. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge A/V systems that empower our clients to connect, communicate, and thrive. From site prep to system commissioning, you’ll bring technical expertise and a passion for problem-solving to every project.
Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA or BS degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a technical trainer, content designer or relevant position at a technology-focused company
  • Experience in defining, designing, developing, testing, and analysis of software architectures/infrastructures
  • Previous experience presenting technical material through a variety of methods
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Effective team-player who also can function well independently against tight deadlines

Responsibilities
  • Perform technical installation tasks for the successful completion of audio visual projects
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and signal flow diagrams
  • Use power tools, hand tools, solder, crimp, and terminate various connectors associated with audio visual systems
  • Perform rack fabrication and writing
  • Field installation of structure and equipment
  • Not limited to projectors and screens
  • Configure and test code for DSP and controls systems (QSC/Creston/Extron)
  • Make minor programming changes for control systems
  • Serve as working site supervisor of the installation team for larger projects
  • Test integrated systems and troubleshoot as required
  • Provide commissioning and end using trainings of systems
  • Create redlines for finalized system documentation
  • Works well in a team environment and is willing to mentor/lead others
  • Ability to travel and work at various client sites greater than 50% of the time as required
