Equans are seeking an AV Resident Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide audio-visual services, technical support, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure our clients receive a high standard of service. Your work will align with our safety, quality, and customer service standards, supporting the company in achieving its objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Technical certificates/licenses in a relevant field.
  • CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate
  • Advanced Diploma of IT Networking
  • Crestron Flex for Microsoft Teams Room Solutions (CTI-FT)
  • DM Certified Engineer – 4K (DMC-E-4K)
  • DM Certified Designer – 4K (DMC-D-4K)
  • Previous audio-visual industry experience.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Construction induction card (White Card).
  • Valid Australian driving licence.
  • Ability to pass a criminal record check.
Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site and remote customer service support, troubleshooting, and repairs for AV/VC systems.
  • Offer technical assistance on the use of audio-visual and video conferencing equipment.
  • Develop and maintain user instructions for AV/VC systems.
  • Action AV/VC incidents and requests submitted via the service desk tool within set service levels.
  • Maintain an asset register of essential equipment, consumables, and spare parts.
  • Assist in providing quotations for repairs when supplier warranties have expired.
  • Keep technical training up to date, maintaining certifications and industry knowledge.
