Job Title: AV Installation Lead Overview: This position is responsible for leading the onsite installation team to ensure that audio-visual (AV) project installations meet industry standards, design specifications, and project timelines and budgets. This is a Direct Hire, and looking for a person with a low Voltage License. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with management to ensure proper staffing and availability of tools for each project Coordinate with the AV Project Manager to requisition materials and manage logistics and delivery of equipment Record serial numbers and manage onsite inventory of all project materials Monitor labor and material costs throughout the project lifecycle Use daily job journals, inventory forms, and communication records to guide field personnel and maintain schedules Stay up to date with emerging AV technologies Provide technical support to field teams Communicate scope changes to the AV Project Manager and Design Team as they arise Report equipment failures or material issues requiring replacement Conduct daily onsite inspections of work locations Submit required field documentation including field drawings, cable certification reports, and applicable warranties Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial AV installation Strong knowledge of AV systems and installation practices Ability to interpret scopes of work, blueprints, and line drawings Experience with device/equipment programming and configuration across multiple manufacturers Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities Proven ability to manage AV project implementation and lead teams effectively Skilled in prioritizing and managing competing demands Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Danbury, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
