WHAT YOU’LL DO The Audio/Video Onsite Maintenance Technician will primarily perform preventative maintenance reviews of AV devices at a single customer location in Manhattan. Each preventive maintenance visit (PMV) will be to test the functionality of AV equipment, document any findings, note issues in an online form and open a Service Management ticket. In addition, there will be AV break/fix support that will be performed as needed. Day-To-Day Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces, including but not limited to: ensuring that all technology works as designed and testing/repairing various hardware components Clean various AV equipment, including but not limited to: camera lenses, monitors, and equipment fans. Responsible for job site documentation and providing client training on the AV Technology as needed Perform support tasks in a timely and quality-conscious manner, including but not limited to: meeting support, installing non-complex AV components, and video/audio recording support where applicable Collaborate with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVI-SPL Understand and adhere to local safety standards for all site duties Set up, operate, and troubleshoot (break-fix) various audio/video systems Items to Consider: AVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as necessary. Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account. This position is based at a single customer location in Philadelphia. 100% of the work must be performed onsite.
