POSITION OVERNIEW:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of AVL installation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of audio, video, and lighting systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Required:
  • 1+ year of experience in project management within the AVL industry or a related technical field.
  • Moderate knowledge of audio, video, and lighting systems used in Houses of Worship.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and system diagrams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for on-site installations.
  • Preferred:
  • PMP or CTS certification is a plus.
  • Background in live production or AVL system design.
  • Experience working with churches and understanding their unique AVL needs.
Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Coordination
  • Oversee AVL installation projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Technical & Installation Oversight
  • Work closely with AVL designers and technicians to ensure system integration meets client expectations.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and resolve on-site challenges.
  • Ensure all installations meet industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide updates, manage expectations, and address concerns in a professional manner.
  • Foster strong relationships with Houses of Worship, understanding their unique needs.
  • Budget & Resource Management
  • Monitor project budgets and control costs to maintain profitability.
  • Track inventory, order necessary equipment, and coordinate logistics.
  • Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
  • Quality Control & Project Closeout
  • Ensure all systems are tested, calibrated, and optimized post-installation.
  • Conduct final walkthroughs and training sessions for church staff.
  • Gather client feedback and ensure complete satisfaction before project sign-off.
