Responsibilities
Supports the team in overseeing and orchestrating Audio Visual Operations throughout the Hotel’s diverse spaces, including Function Rooms, Dining Concepts, open and expansive Beaches, Indoor and Outdoor Pools, and vibrant Club Environments, maintaining an unparalleled standard of service and technical finesse.
Provides assistance in the setup, operation, and meticulous upkeep of Audio Visual Equipment across the hotel, encompassing sophisticated Sound Systems, state-of-the-art Projectors, Lighting Fixtures, Video Walls, and premium DJ Equipment.
Works closely with Cross-functional Teams like the events team, restaurant personnel, beach and pool attendants, and club management to understand and deliver on their Bespoke Audio Visual Requirements for Our and our Guests’ ‘FIVE-Styled’ Events.
Collaborates with the Information Technology Team and other Departments to integrate Audio Visual Systems with the hotel’s network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and compatibility.
Supervises the setup, operation, and meticulous upkeep of Audio Visual Equipment across the hotel to ensure it is in ‘FIVE-Star’ Condition at all times.
Performs regular Inspections and Tests to ensure systems are functioning optimally, meet quality standards, and comply with safety regulations.
Maintains an inventory of Audio Visual Equipment, Tracks Usage, and coordinates Repairs, Replacements, or Upgrades as necessary.
Remains abreast of cutting-edge Industry Trends, Emergent Technologies, and Advancements in Audio Visual Equipment pertinent to hotel, restaurant, beach, pool, and club settings, offering recommendations for enrichments or upgrades to the Hotel’s Audio Visual Infrastructure.
Liaises with external Audio Visual Vendors to coordinate Equipment Rentals, Repairs, and Technical Support as needed. Maintains relationships with suppliers and ensures Cost-effective Procurement of equipment and accessories.
Conducts Training Sessions for our FIVE Tribe on the proper use of Audio Visual Equipment. Prepares and maintains Detailed Documentation, including User Manuals and Troubleshooting Guides.
Provides Technical Assistance and Troubleshooting Support to guests using Audio Visual Equipment in guest rooms or public areas.
