Annerin Productions is looking for experienced AV technicians to support the upcoming Beyond Van Gogh Exhibition at Exeter Westpoint Arena in October 2025.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the load-in crew and be responsible for the daily AV operations of the exhibition
  • Maintain computer hardware and software for the exhibit.
  • First line servicing of projectors and AV equipment if required
  • First line maintenance of all audio systems and associated components
  • Maintain lighting, electrical and network cables, general AV and Multimedia equipment

Operations:

  • Daily start-up and first-line maintenance of all audio-visual equipment
  • The AV Technician will be required to monitor the operation of the equipment and communicate any issues to the Annerin management team

Required Skills:

  • Comprehensive entertainment, theatre or events industry experience
  • A solid understanding of multi-output projection systems including:

o Media Servers. Mac and PC Platforms
o Signal Distribution Protocols
o Managed and Unmanaged Networking Systems
o Cable Management and Wiring and Termination (CATx, XLR and Power etc.)
o Troubleshooting, projector anatomy and the ability to diagnose faults
o Color balancing and calibration of projectors
o Experience with Watchout is preferred
o Hold permits to operate elevated work platforms (e.g. scissor lifts)
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 weeks
Pay: £1,400.00 per week
