We now have an exciting opportunity for a proven Audio Visual Technician to join one of our most prestigious client sites, to join our existing and growing onsite team.
This team provide dedicated AV & Event support services across some iconic venues and this exciting and diverse role will involve supporting senior figures from within government and external organisations, therefore attitude and attention to detail are crucial.
You will need to be able to carry yourself well and provide a high-class service both personally and technically.

THE HOURS OF SUPPORT REFLECT THE EXTERNAL EVENT DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8 hours between 07:30-21:30 Monday to Friday
  • 8 hours between 07:30-16:30 During Recess
  • Working as part of a team you will perform a 40hr Week within a rota system.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of AV solutions from a technical perspective
  • Proven experience with digital mixing desks, vision mixers and camera controls
  • Knowledge of collaboration clients such as Cisco, Teams, Zoom, Google
  • Excellent people skills; including strong and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptability to work in unfamiliar surroundings
  • Passionate customer service attitude and proven customer service skills
  • Extensive experience in working in a pressured operational environment

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure operational availability of all dedicated Event Spaces and all AV or Hybrid enabled meeting rooms
  • Perform AV equipment setup/installation and support as required
  • Provide technical support for events, including duration support where requested
  • Set up and operate client supplied infrastructure, equipment and applications in dedicated live event spaces and meeting rooms to deliver live events where requested
  • Attend post event debriefs where requested
  • Provide quick responses to emergency/ad-hoc requests, adhering to SLA’s where relevant
  • Conduct regular proactive room and equipment checks
  • Assist in ensuring “as build” documentation is maintained effectively
  • Actively provide input into the team’s standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
  • Working as a team assist in arrangement of loan equipment to meet client specifications
  • Demonstrate Self Service AV and VC Capabilities to end users wherever possible
