JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician/Producer to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in audio visual systems, including installation, maintenance, and live production. This role requires technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills to ensure seamless operation of our proprietary solution in a hospital setting, and excellent customer communication skills.

SKILLS

• Excellent communication skills required to be successful in position.
• Proficient in electrical experience related to audio visual systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with hand tools effectively. The position requires mounting of brackets and hardware.
• Familiarity with software troubleshooting for AV-related applications.
• Experience with Microsoft operating systems relevant to AV setups.
• Knowledge of cabling techniques for efficient installation and organization of AV equipment.
• Understanding of E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principles as they apply to AV technology.
• Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining a high standard of service quality. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about audio visual technology and enjoy working in a collaborative environment while providing exceptional service to clients.
• Comfortable working in a hospital surgical environment. The position includes recording of live surgical procedures.

  Pay: $275.00 - $325.00 per day

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Audio and Visual Production: 3 years (Required)

Work Location: Remot

• Install the company’s equipment in existing or new operating rooms/cath labs.
• Produce live or recorded surgical case procedures using the company’s proprietary system.
• Travel to the location of the customer to provide training, installation or production services.
• Read and interpret schematics to assist with installation planning.
• Provide field service support for AV systems at customer locations, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Collaborate with team members on installation and/or production plans.
• Provide installation support to company’s strategic partners.
• Document all work performed and carryout final clean up of job site upon completion.
• Ensure customer satisfaction in all onsite interactions.
• Provide technical support to existing customers as requested by the company.
• Be an active participant in installation planning meetings.
• This position will require the ability to work after hours, weekends and holidays.
