Description

Duties and Responsibilities:- Work with rest of AVEVA PI Team to translate requirements into system design- Develop and implement modules, programs or Aveva PI components to support functionalities- Author and update internal and external documentation- Ensure functionalities, architecture and design are aligned and can be supported with AVEVA PI solution- Ensure data processing and validation will preserve data integrity & support the functionalities- Work with the team in root cause analysis, recommendations development and in the implementation of required actions- Be available to accept trouble calls & help resolve issues Qualifications- Bachelors degree in ECE or have prior experience in automation and instrumentation- Hands-on systems experience in OSIsoft PI System and with working knowledge in one or more of the OSIsoft PI System functional modules is a PLUS.- Experience with at least two full life cycle implementations of OSIsoft PI System modules and experience in dynamic support environment is a PLUS- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex production issues.- Ability to facilitate interactive design and functional specification sessions.- Must be a team player able to work with management in developing and implementing new processes and enabling systems.- Knowledge of systems and/or business analysis design concepts. Demonstrated proficiency in the applied use of systems and process analysis tools. Full system life cycle experience, including development lifecycle methodologies.- Proactive, self-motivated with the ability to motivate others and a customer-focused service attitude.

Responsibilities

Translate requirements into system designs and develop Aveva PI components to support business functionalities. Perform root cause analysis and maintain internal and external documentation to ensure system integrity.
