POSITION OVERVIEW:

As an Avian Veterinarian, you’ll bring expert care to our patients by specializing in the medical care of domestic and exotic birds and working closely with a talented, collaborative team. You’ll perform diagnostics and surgeries, and contribute towards an exceptional standard of care that builds trusting relationships with pet owners.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent knowledge in Avian anatomy, physiology, diagnostics and surgical procedures.
• 3+ years experience with Avians.
• Experience as a General Practitioner Veterinarian with small animals
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
• Equivalency letter or valid MOCCAE License.
• Proficiency in conducting physical examinations, diagnosing medical conditions, and performing routine surgeries.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Fluency in English.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of veterinary care and client service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Passion for animals and a dedication to promoting their health and well-being.
