The Opportunity We are currently seeking an Aviation Engineering Intern to join the Aviation team in our Charlotte, NC office for the 2026-2027 school year. The Aviation Architectural Intern will collaborate with and be mentored by top Architectural associates on our team. The selected candidate will work with associates assisting the Aviation Group on a variety of conventional and design-build projects that combine innovative design with a strong knowledge of technical standards to exceed client expectations and provide cost-effective solutions. The selected candidate will collaborate with our team of Project Managers, Architects, and Engineers, as needed by workload, providing a better insight to the type of work other departments are doing. This is an amazing opportunity to gain hands-on experience and a better understanding of the Aviation market. Responsibilities: Perform design resolutions requiring knowledge and application of basic Architectural principles Prepare and revise plan documents details Evaluate and review shop drawings for ongoing construction projects Use of Revit and other visualization software to reconcile construction challenges Provide support to Architectural and project management associates Qualifications: Current student pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture at a NAAB accredited university with at least 1 year remaining until program completion 2.5 GPA or above Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment Preferred Qualifications: Prior internship or related experience Revit, Photoshop, Enscape, and/or Twin Motion experience with strong graphics and visualization skillsets Experience or exposure to Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circulars Specific interest in Aviation Building market #LI-SP1 #WayUp If this sounds like the internship for you and you're ready to experience an amazing team environment, please apply.
