Description

Role Purpose
Ensures all aviation activities in Dubai, including Free Zones, comply with UAE Civil Aviation Law and Dubai Civil Aviation Authority regulations. This role involves processing No Objection Certificates (NOCs), conducting audits and inspections, and ensuring timely and accurate handling of applications and fees.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
1. No Objection Certificates: Evaluates and approve the online requests for NOC applications prior to processing them. Analyse NOC requests and communicate, if necessary, with other sections and departments to verify different requirements.
2. Audits/inspections: Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify violations of DCAA regulatory standards and policies. Issue violations and corrective action notices to non-compliant individuals or entities and oversee the closure process of issued violations by monitoring corrective actions.
3. Consumer Protection: Respond to consumer complaints via email/phone and online system promptly and efficiently.
4. Research and Study: Assist in examining the requirements for new tasks according to local, Federal, and international aviation regulations.
5. Liaising: Facilitate communication with regulatory agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders. Assist in responding to inquiries and requests for information. Maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders to promote collaboration and compliance.
6. Records: Oversee the maintenance of electronic filing systems for rules, regulations, procedures, NOC approvals, inspections/audits, and corrective measures. Ensure easy access and referencing of records for compliance and reporting purposes.
7. Communication: Establish regular communication with both internal and external stakeholders, documenting interactions.
8. Awareness: Coordinate the implementation of campaigns to raise awareness about consumer protection and aviation activities. (consumers, business owners, general public).
9. Surveys: Support in conducting annual surveys to assess service levels and identify areas for improvement.
10. Statistical Report: prepare weekly and annual reports summarizing section activities.
11. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the Head of Section.
12. Ensure compliance with non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, as well as DCAA security policies, to safeguard both government and DCAA confidential information. Address and rectify any ISR audit findings, promptly report security incidents, and engage in ongoing security awareness training to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.

QUALIFICATIONS

Academic Qualifications:

  • Higher Diploma.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Business Administration is preferred.

  • Basic Civil Aviation Law

Professional Experience:

  • At least (2-4) years - Customer service and customer complains & Inspections.
