Position Summary The Porter plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards across all company facilities. This position supports food safety compliance, inventory control of cleaning materials, and overall operational readiness in a fast-paced, 24/7 aviation catering environment. Essential Responsibilities Execute the master cleaning schedule for all company buildings Perform pot and pan washing and redistribution Remove trash and maintain waste areas Requisition and restock chemicals and cleaning materials Maintain inventory control of chemicals and sanitation supplies Ensure accurate reporting of food safety documentation Restock hand towels, hand soap, sanitizer, and restroom auto-sprayers Maintain cleanliness standards in compliance with food safety regulations Work Schedule & Environment Overnight shift (8:00 PM – 4:30 AM) Flexible schedule required in a 24/7 operation Weekends and holidays required Peak seasons may include PTO blackout periods Work in varying temperatures including warm kitchens, coolers, and freezers Requirements Qualifications Availability to work overnight, weekends, and holidays Ability to adapt to schedule changes Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team Strong sense of urgency and workplace safety awareness OSHA knowledge a plus ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain) Physical Requirements: Heavy lifting required Frequent bending and movement of racks, bins, and equipment Ability to work in cold and freezer environments daily
