Description
As the Aviation Maintenance Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technology Specialist, you will serve as the department technical lead within the Aviation Maintenance (AVM) Asset Management and Logistics team on SEA Airport BIM projects and digital asset information models. You will provide technical support to drive standards compliance and adherence to workflow protocols while ensuring quality of projects and operations. You will create, edit, and publish Port-wide BIM Standards for AVM. You will serve as a technical expert to organize and execute BIM projects in accordance with standards and best practices. You will work with the AVM Asset Management and Logistics team to align Project Information Model (PIM) to Asset Information Model (AIM) with Maximo location and asset information. You will export model data for expense projects and develop and deliver training content for BIM/AIM usage to AVM staff. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with processes, standards and procedures related to AIM and Port Construction Services to ensure model updates and integration into AIM. You will conduct site analysis throughout the airport and airfield to generate, evaluate, review, and record existing and new site conditions to validate model data for all projects, providing support with ongoing maintenance of models and as-built record keeping. You will support the development and implementation of BIM support systems, including Port-wide BIM Standards, data storage, data access, and model management. Experienced – You have three (3) years of design technology experience in the design and construction of major facilities including hands-on experience with Revit or related software (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, etc.) within the building design industry.
