Job Description The Aviation Global Service Line in Ramboll is looking for an experienced and ambitious Aviation Professional with an extensive network within worldwide aviation. You will become part of our Aviation team As our new colleague, you will become part of a dedicated international aviation team. We work primarily within the fields of planning, design and maintenance of airside infrastructure in Denmark and internationally. We have sister departments across Ramboll, with whom we collaborate on projects in most parts of the world, and together we make up the Ramboll Aviation Global Service Line. You will become part of a diverse, international department, which works on airport projects throughout the full project cycle – from planning, through concept and detailed design to construction. Your future colleagues have strong experience within Master Planning, Geometric Design, Pavement Design, AGL Design, preparation of tender documents, construction supervision and maintenance of airside assets. We work on projects from Antarctica in the South to Greenland in the North, and across the globe in locations like the Caribbean, UK, India, Scandinavia, United States, Europe, APAC etc. Your most important tasks and responsibilities will be: Supporting project delivery, based on your experience within the field of aviation, e.g. through leading project teams Preparing reports and memos as part of our airport engineering projects Leading our planning and design teams when relevant on various airside projects Outreach to potential clients Developing and maintaining great Client relationships Leading proposal preparation Using and developing the use of our CRM system Formulating and communicating feedback to project team members, to contribute to maintaining a high level of quality in the department Acting as a role model for our less experienced colleagues About you: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering Experience in airport engineering projects and/or airport operations, preferably projects on airside Experience in multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects 10+ years of experience within the aviation industry Experience from a Business Development role Extensive network within the aviation industry, especially among airports and airport concessionaires Experienced in leading proposal preparation, managing both Client requirements and internal approval processes Proactive, dedicated and flexible (travel will be required) Working knowledge and previous use of relevant design standards (ICAO, EASA) is a plus Excellent communication skills – English at a professional level is required; additional language skills are a plus To succeed in the position, it is important that you are a good communicator, and that you handle different stakeholders better than most.
