Your daily tasks will include: X-ray screening of cargo, baggage, and goods Conducting searches of people, vehicles, and aircraft Access control duties at secure site entry points Document and ID checks Supporting incident response and emergency services Escorting VIPs and high-value cargo Operating radios and control room systems Writing clear reports and logs of incidents You’ll need to stay alert, think quickly, and maintain professionalism under pressure – whether it’s identifying suspicious items or dealing with complex security protocols. Qualifications What we’re looking for: We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have: Right to work in the UK, 5 year checkable history and ability to pass a high level of security clearance Experience in a similar role (armed services, civil police, or aviation industry ideal) Clean full UK driving licence Physically fit and colour vision test passed (required for X-ray screening) Strong communication and report writing skills Customer service focused, with a calm and professional attitude Willingness to undergo and maintain mandatory aviation training (CSO, NASP, NXCT, Firearms Recognition) First Aid certification (desirable) Manual handling training (desirable) Flexible approach to shifts and operational demands (desirable) Due to the nature of this opportunity, candidates must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) Clearance Additional Information It’s great to see you’re considering a career with Securitas UK!
