Location: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) Duration March 12, 2026 –July 24, 2026 Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour Work Hours: 7am to 3:30pm and 8am – 4:30pm (two shifts), Monday- Friday Program Overview Lead Captains will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program, including the management of other Captains, coordinating student activities, and ensuring the smooth deployment of participants to various business units. Additionally, the Lead Captains will be responsible for compiling data, conducting briefings, and submitting daily reports to ATL Workforce and the Department of Aviation. Lead Captains' will also collaborate with ATL Workforce staff to identify suitable roles within each division and create clear timelines and deliverables for each participant. Additionally, the Lead Captains will provide comprehensive support and guidance to participating high school students, foster effective supervision, and coordinate a positive overall experience for the youth.
Responsibilities
Lead Captains will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Aviation Summer Youth Program, managing other Captains and coordinating student activities. They will also compile data, conduct briefings, and submit daily reports to ATL Workforce and the Department of Aviation.
