Job Summary: To work under the guidance of other avionics technicians to identify malfunctions, remove, repair, and install a limited variety of aircraft communication, navigation, and electrical components Job Responsibilities: • Demonstrate the ability to understand avionics. This includes terminology, basic setup, operation, and practical application of electrical and avionics aircraft systems. • With guidance and supervision, perform analysis of routine electrical malfunctions according to standard shop practices using some equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and continuity lights. • With assistance, perform minor repair such as replacing wires and connectors on standard electrical components. • With assistance and supervision, remove and install electrical and electronic components as directed. • Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints. • Responsible only for own work. • Perform other related duties as required Education: Requires a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification. Experience: No experience required. Electrical assembly experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assist in identifying, removing, repairing, and installing various aircraft communication, navigation, and electrical components. Perform routine electrical malfunction analysis and minor repairs under the guidance of experienced technicians.
