The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking is seeking an Avionics Hardware Engineer – Fighters Mission Systems located in Berkeley, MO.
This engineering position is supporting the exciting Fighters platforms, specifically subsystem design, integration, test, and analysis of new and existing Mission Systems Avionics equipment.
The Avionics equipment will include effort involving Computers (Mission, Safety, and Fuel), High Speed Network Switches, and Stores Management Weapon Interface Units. This position will support numerous Fighters program customers and the ability to execute multiple contractual schedules concurrently.
This role will lead hardware supplier design teams in supporting all Tactical Fighters program needs and brief status to internal and external customers or stakeholders. Throughout the entire development cycle, this engineering role will support conceptual design, detailed design, subsystem testing, system testing, flight testing, and system verification efforts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Typical Education/Experience:
Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
