SUMMARY:
In this role the Avionics Integration Engineer will design, test and participate in the airworthiness certification of aftermarket avionics systems integrations. The Avionics Integration Engineer will be an integral part of a team, working closely with other design disciplines, customers, subcontractors, and Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA) to ensure design requirements are fully defined and airworthiness compliance can be achieved.
The Avionics Integration Engineer will participate in FAA / Foreign CAA STC certification, aircraft return to service, and complete technical reviews of other design disciplines documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
