Job Title: Avionics Manager
Reporting Relationship: General Manager / Director of Operations
Status: Full-Time
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM
Department: Avionics
Job Summary & Purpose: AI Systems is looking for an Avionics Manager with aspirations to grow as a leader within our business. From troubleshooting a customer’s complaint to installing a custom harness, this position calls for a driven individual who is detail-oriented and ready to take charge in a competitive industry. Salaries dependent upon experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma (Required)
  • 5+ years field experience (Required)
  • Self-motivated
  • Critical thinking for problem solving
  • Ability to follow written/verbal instructions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Physically able to work in tight and/or uncomfortable spaces
  • Work hours in excess of 40 hours per week may be required at times.

    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

An Avionics Manager’s primary functions include, but are not limited to:
-Manage a group of 2-3 avionics technicians.
- Repair and modify aircraft avionics and electrical components.
- Utilize technical knowledge of avionics and electrical systems in troubleshooting practices and corrective measures.
-Build aircraft harnesses and instrument panels to specification using engineering documents.
- Read and comprehend wire diagrams and schematics.
- Communicate and collaborate on plans for various projects.
